NVIDIA has launched its next-generation data processing unit, BlueField-4, at the GTC event in Washington, D.C. The processor is engineered to meet the escalating demands of AI factories, boasting an 800Gb/s throughput and sixfold compute power improvements over its predecessor.

The Grace CPU-powered unit integrates with Nvidia ConnectX-9 networking, enabling AI infrastructure to quadruple in scale. Its DOCA microservices framework delivers multi-tenant security, cloud elasticity, and runtime protection—positioning it as a cornerstone for next-gen data centers.
